Jack and The Grim Reapers
King Mardy Gold was famous as a greedy king. He asked his people to pay more taxes for many activities they do in his kingdom. He has a chamber to keep his gold which he got from the taxes. Nobody could enter this chamber except him. Everyday King Mardy Gold got into his chamber to count and polish his gold. He could do it for hours.
This morning King Mardy Gold couldn’t find the key to his gold chamber. He searched everywhere but still he couldn’t find it. King Mardy Gold was furious, today was his birthday, but something that could make him happy was missing from his place. He ordered all his guards and servants to look for the key, but by night no one had been able to find it.
But, is it true that no one has found it?
The man who was drinking a glass of wine was Jack. He was known as a noble from a foreign land, and two days ago he arrived at Alodia to give gifts directly to the king. Behind his warm smile that shook everyone who approached him, Jack couldn't take his eyes off the King Mardy Gold who was sitting on his throne with a frown on his face.
"King Mardy, why do you look upset?" asked Jack who approached King Mardy Gold with a glass of wine in his hand. King Mardy Gold glanced at the blonde haired man, "I'm missing something," said King Mardy Gold lazily.
“Ah, I see... too bad you can't go to that chamber today.”
"Yeah, too bad..." pause, "Wait, I never told anyone the missing thing was..." King Mardy glared at Jack angrily.
Jack smiled crookedly then threw a ball on the floor, then his sturdy body was swallowed up in the smoke, and when the smoke cleared, Jack had disappeared. Everyone who saw the incident was shocked, they looked at the king with fear, and after that a great roar was heard from the king, "LOOK FOR JACK FROM KALOPSIA AND BRING HIM TO ME!!! IF YOU CAN'T GET HIM YOU WILL DIE IN MY HANDS!!!"
Everyone panicked and immediately looked for Jack throughout the palace, but strangely that person could not be found anywhere. The atmosphere in the palace became even more chaotic when the alarm trumpet sounded, they ran out of the palace and suddenly all the lights went out.
“AAAAAARHHHHH!!!” shouted a girl who was pushed away, she could see the king standing in their midst, and that made them even more scared.
Besides being known as a greedy king, King Mardy Gold is also known as a king who likes to do whatever he wants and will not hesitate to be rude to those who get in his way. Therefore they were afraid that King Mardy Gold would do something crazy.
SNAP!
A big white light suddenly shone on the roof of the castle, and they were surprised to find Jack there.
From up there Jack who saw their fear laughed amusedly, “HAHAHAHAHA!!! All of you are afraid of that fat and greedy king?!” exclaims Jack in a scornful tone, “That's okay! After this you don't have to be afraid of that king!” Jack said pointing at King Mardy Gold, “Because that king is nothing without this key,” said Jack taking out a necklace with a key tied at the end.
“GIVE ME BACK THAT KEY!!!” shouted King Mardy Gold.
From up there Jack shook his head, “No no no, a greedy and arrogant king like you should learn a lesson, know how much your people have suffered? You will suffer like them too.”
King Mardy Gold's face reddened, he hated Jack, “Hahahahahaha!” And that laugh.
"Don't be angry, because from the start you were nothing without your status," pause, “You don't even realize that this stranger is digging into your chamber to take out the gold one by one, and sneaking into your room to get this key.”
Shortly after that a helicopter approached Jack and held out a ladder, “Well, my time is up, congratulations on being a tramp and getting ridicule from your people, goodbye Mardy Gold~" said Jack and set fire to the place he was standing on.
King Mardy Gold's castle was burned down, and there was no one to help him because of King Mardy Gold's nature. From the beginning they also wanted to hold King Mardy Gold off his throne, but no one could because of King Mardy Gold's wealth. The next day the people were surprised when they found two gold blocks each with a letter "Jack and the grim reapers", then the news of the fall of King Mardy Gold was heard, they all cheered and started preparing for elections to elect a new king, while King Mardy Gold banished from the kingdom, he regretted never doing good, and now, when he had lost everything, there was no one to help.
