Is Bringing Lunch to School is Beneficial?

Nowadays, during lunch, most students go to the canteen because they prefer to eat and enjoy the food from there. But, I think otherwise, there are a variety of reasons on why bringing your own lunch to school beneficial.
To begin with, by bringing your own lunch to school that means you already have some food ready for lunch. When you have your own food ready it means that you don't have to about going to the canteen to buy some food. In other words, you won't need to waste your time on queuing and waiting for your turn to order in the canteen, because once the bell rings you could immediately eat your lunch.
Then, when you bring your own lunch, that means that you are able to know the portion of how much you eat and also know the food that you can and can't eat. In other words, you won't waste any of the food you're eating because you know you'll be able to finish eating it. And also, when eating you don't have to worry about eating something you are allergic to because you have already prepared it beforehand.
To summarize, I think that bringing your own lunch to school beneficial because your food is already ready and you know how much you are going to eat. As a result, you won't have to worry about waiting in line, wasting food, and concern about whether the fact the food's got some allergic materials in it or not. (Brieana Kathleen - Class XI MIPA 5)
