Vacation in Bali
It was on my junior high school holiday term, me and my family went to Bali to have a quick getaway. We went there by plane and it took less than two hours. We spent our holiday for three days. I had lots of meaningful experience during the vacation because it was my first time going to Bali.
On the first day, we decided to visit Kuta Beach in the morning. We were very delighted to see the beach. I spent most of my time swimming while my parents were enjoying the food and beverages there. There were lots of people who went surfing. In the afternoon, we were starving so we went to Jamie Oliver Kitchen. The food was scrumptious. After that, we continued to Tanah Lot. It was crowded and lots of people were there. The sunset was extraordinary and it was a good opportunity to watch the sunset. The place was astonishing, the architecture was unique, and it was invigorating. There was a place called Pura, a Balinese Hindu Temple which was not far from there. The temple was really nice, it was surrounded by unique carvings so we took lots of memorable photos there. In the evening, we went back to our hotel room and got some rest. It was very exhausting but we were very happy.
The next day, our destination was going to Ubud Monkey Forest. The area was spacious and magnificent. We saw the beautiful nature with green forest. There were lots of monkeys playing around the area. It was really fascinating for me so I took a photo of them. Some of them were very quirky, some of them were calm. Overall, they were very playful and I could make an interaction with them. Then, we moved to Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park which was iconic and had lots of gigantic statues. We also watched the traditional Balinese dance there and their performance was outstanding.
On my last day vacation in Bali, we spent most of our time shopping. We went to Krisna. We bought lots of souvenirs, Bali T-shirts for my friends and Balinese Pie. We went back to our hotel room, packed our stuffs and checked out from the hotel. Then, we flew back to Jakarta and landed safely. I had such an amazing and meaningful memories there. I hope that I could get back to Bali again someday.
