Classmeeting valentines & CNY: What Love Will Do To You? The SMPK 4 PENABURS class meeting to celebrate Valentine's Day and Chinese New Year on Friday, 16th of February 2024 was prepared many days before by teachers and student council members. Many competitions were held with their committees. The competitions include Valentine's poem, a fashion show, a drawing competition, e-sports such as Valorant and mobile legends, a few minigames such as Family Feud, Scrabblympics, UNO, and for the students that didn't get the chance to join the competitions, they will be class decorating. Student council members sold a few foods and drinks. A photo booth was also held during the whole day for people to take pictures.
SMPK 4 Students came to school and started the day with life group closing with their mentors, after that, they went to the places where the competitions would be held and the class meeting started. After everyone has done their competitions they move to the auditorium and watch the fashion show. Then the winners of each competition during the class meeting were announced.
After the class meeting, students get a break and then come back to the auditorium to do the literacy closing. The literacy teachers held this event along with a few student council members and there was a special guest from Duta Baca Indonesia, Gol A Gong who gave SMPK 4 students enthusiasm about reading. The Day was closed off by a closing prayer and students went home with lasting memories of this day hopefully, SMPK 4 can make more class meetings and programs in the future.
