SMAK PLUS PENABUR CIREBON STUDENTS JOIN THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH’S (DofE)

CIREBON, SMAK PLUS PENABUR – The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is a non-formal education and learning framework operating in more than 130 countries and territories around the world, through which young people’s achievements outside of academia are recognised and celebrated. The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation are the engine that drives and supports the Award’s growth, access and impact across the globe.
Since this year SMAK Plus students join to this international award. The students start to documentated their charity activity and all activity to build their talents like sport, art, and new skills. The following are their DofE activities documentation.
Justin and Darren 11th grader of SMAK Plus fill in their weekly activity with playing badminton. It develop their mental and physical health. This activity also develop their skill in badminton sport.
Darren 11th grader student of SMAK Plus has service program in tutoring his young sister every week. It develop his big heart to service others and also his skill in teaching and transfer his knowledge to others.
Caroline 11th grader student of SMAK Plus has service program in the church, become worship leader in her church. It will develop her confidence and her skill in public speaking.
Caroline 11th grader student of SMAK Plus develop her driving skill as new skill in her life. DofE encourage the students to develop new skill, having excellent mental and physical health, also service to others.
