In worship, we often only beg or ask for what we need, or we only complain to God for what He has done, but in reality we are often taught about the right way of worship, namely being grateful for what God has always given us. Romans 12:1 says, "Therefore, I urge you brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God–this is your true and proper worship.”
In fact, true worship according to God is presenting your body as a living sacrifice, pleasing to God. That means to be ready to face all the things that God gives or tests without seeing that God is evil or seeing us differently, and also willing to give your body to God without thinking about other things, which can make us unfaithful to God. In conclusion, we must surrender ourselves to God when we worship but that does not mean giving up on what God has made for us.
