Bridge to the World 2025 - Day 2 - P4 Bilingual Class

Bridge to the World 2025, an event orchestrated by P4’s Bilingual programme teacher’s is a fun and exciting chance for Bilingual students to express themselves in creative and principled ways according to Christian Character. It is an event where the students can transform their ideas into reality in their best efforts from the past Thursday March 20 until Friday March 21.
By the second day of the event, we were welcomed by Catherine 9F singing “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” as an opening before the scene transitions to the first drama of the day performed by 8H. Though having short content they managed to bring out the experience through their acting which made scene’s more meaningful to the plot and well summarized the chills and thrills of the movie.
After the first drama the invited MC alumni Audrey Utoyo came up to the stage. Seen with a confident face she gave us a warm greeting and proceeded to explain who she was then afterwards teaching and giving out lessons that she had learnt on her journey to being a Harvard student. Those lessons such as the importance of asking, having faith in what we do, and the emphasis of the term “More high touch, less low touch”.
Onwards there came a Q&A session where she would come and give us advice such as dealing with our laziness, not focusing on motivation but instead the discipline and simplicity of doing our responsibilities step by step, and regular knowledge of Harvard’s nature and faculties throughout campus.
As the talk show ended it was 8G’s turn to present their drama which introduced many infamous dialogues and a lot of props which really shows their effort. Nonetheless they had in depth lore and some quite funny scenes that kept us looking. After their play, the event was soon ended by the song “How Does A Moment Last Forever” sung by Aurora 8G, leaving a final touch to Bridge to the World 2025
After its end we students and teachers came together and took a picture with our Narnia-themed costumes to commemorate Bridge To The World 2025 leaving off with important lessons for us the students and the people in the event who have inspired us.
