Pra PLS
Pada tanggal 10 Juli 2020, kami menyambut kedatangan siswa-siswi kelas 7 di SMPK 2 Penabur melalui acara PLS 2020 dengan tema DNA+: Born to LEAD!
Selama Pra-PLS, para murid kelas 7 sangat semangat untuk mengikuti acara tersebut. Walaupun PLS tahun ini dilakukan secara daring, kami sangat bersemangat untuk mengikuti semua acara dan bertemu dengan teman-teman kelas 7. Dengan teknologi yang ada saat ini, jarak tidak menjadi hambatan untuk belajar ❤️

On July 10th 2020, we welcomed our future leaders into SMPK 2 Penabur in P2’s 2020 orientation with the theme of DNA+: Born to LEAD!
During the pre-orientation, the seventh graders were enthusiastic to start their journey in P2. Even during a pandemic, we still have the determination to learn and meet new friends with the help of advanced technology. With technology, distance can’t keep us apart ❤️

Day 1
13 Juli 2020 merupakan hari pertama dari MPLS 2020. Walaupun dilakukan secara daring, murid-murid kelas 7 tampak bersuka cita saat belajar dari Youtube Live-stream, games online, dan quiz. Semua ini dilakukan secara efisien melalui bantuan para guru dan kakak-kakak pendamping.
Tahun ini merupakan tahun yang spesial bagi kita semua.
July 13th 2020 was the first day of the 4
day long orientation period for the seventh graders. Despite being all done online, students are still having fun while learning from Youtube Live-stream, online games, and quizzes. Assessments are also turned in using Google Drive. All of this were done efficiently with the help of teachers and the student council members during the online meeting.
To say it was amazing does not do it justice. The academic year of 2020/2021 is truly a special year ahead of us.
Hari ke-2 adalah English day! Siswa-siswi kelas 7 diperkenalkan ke English day yaitu hari dimana murid P2 membiasakan diri menggunakan bahasa Inggris.
Untuk hari ini, online meeting dilakukan melalui aplikasi Zoom. Siswa-siswi kelas 7 tampak bersemangat untuk belajar dengan bantuan teknologi yang maju.

It’s Day 2 and also English day! The seventh graders were introduced to English day which is a day where P2 students learn to speak English more.
For this special day, the teachers have decided to use Zoom as a way to meet each other. Students are still eager to learn online with the help of advanced technology.

Hari ke-3 masih semangat dong! Karena hari ini hari Rabu, murid-murid serta para guru mengenakan seragam pramuka.
Selama online meeting, siswa-siswi kelas 7 mempelajari tentang bullying, tata krama, dan metode-metode pembelajaran yang dapat membantu mereka belajar di P2 dengan baik. Para murid juga mengikuti upacara daring dengan tertib. Tepuk tangan untuk murid-murid kelas 7 👏
Day 3 and still going strong! Since it’s Wednesday, all of the students are wearing their scouts uniform.
During the online meeting, the seventh graders learned about bullying, attituude, and learning methods to help them study well in P2. We also did an online ceremony which everyone did well. A round of applause for our seventh graders 👏
Hari ini adalah hari terakhir MPLS 😢
Walaupun hari terakhir, siswa-siswi kelas 7 masih termotivasi untuk mengerjakan tugas mereka dengan baik. Kami mengucapkan terima kasih kepada semuanya untuk kerja sama yang baik selama MPLS.

It’s the last day of our 4 day long orientation period 😢
Even on the last day, the seventh graders were still filled with motivation to do their assignments well. We thank you all for all of the cooperation and the great work during the orientation.

Pada hari Sabtu, 18 Juli 2020, kami mendengarkan webinar dari bapak Christian Fredy Naa, M.Sc., P.hD tentang menjadi kawan sekerja Allah. Murid-murid P2 mengajukan banyak sekali pertanyaan yang bagus selama webinar ini.
Semoga webinar ini bermanfaat bagi kita semua dan dapat membuka wawasan kita sebagai kawan sekerja Allah 😊
On Saturday, July 18th, we listened to Mr. Christian Fredy Naa, M.Sc., P.hD’s webinar about being God’s true companion. P2 students were filled curiosity and motivation during the webinar. A lot of clever questions were asked and answered during the QnA session.
We hope that this webinar helps P2 students to improve their character as God’s true companion!
