When she was little, the author used to live in the mountains of Idaho with her family, away from the city, people, technology and electricity. Her father was a hardcore christian. He isolated his family for years. He didn't have birth certificates for most of them. The author didn't even know her birth date. The mother was a well-known midwife. The author often helped her mother deliver babies. She has several siblings.
Her limited access to education didn't necessarily make her stop pursuing her dream. The rebel author decided to try a new kind of life. One day, she finally made it into Harvard and Cambridge University.
