AN OVERVIEW TO THE BRIGHTEST FUTURE; OPENHOUSExONEFAIR

Continuously to our mission of scouting potential talents and successors in possession of greatness, SMAK 1 PENABUR Jakarta proudly presents, in collaboration with our Student Council (SMUKIE), the event to assert a future spruced in great scrutiny. Here with the best excitement on reflecting on the enthusiasm harvest during our OPEN HOUSE on 10 August 2024.

As the event started and the honorable guests were mobilized and seated in the hall at 7 am sharp, our teacher committees greeted the warmest welcome to all continued by the sessions brought by the teachers. On behalf of the SMAK1 community, we’d like to once again thank all the remarkable enthusiasm from both attendee parents and students.

The open house was filled with lots of crucial information, with the foremost being the highly renowned academic recognition, paired with a musical show collaborating with SMAK1’s two out of three music clubs (SYC mini orchestra and Crescendo band) being the day’s sole representation of the school’s attentiveness on it’s assigned purpose in the non-academic field. And with that, our first session was finished with applause and response from attendees.

The next session of the open house is like none ever before. Therefore, SMAK1 proudly presents; The premier, inaugural, and independent event held by our student council under bidang4 (4th sector team), “OneFair”. OneFair itself is an event during the open house collaborating with teacher committees to showcase science-based projects by students under the school supervision, sourcing from trusted and selected students with potential intervention to change the world for the better. For starters, the event itself represents SMAK1’s vision and mission of building international game-changers for the sake of the betterment of our environment, and country, and even a significant contribution to the global world and/or market. Therefore, the planted vision has stuck as a positive and motivational narrative that encourages students to improve on their level of trial.

Seemingly, guests tend to be extremely invested in the students' testimonies. First, they analyze the products, then test it for themselves before letting curiosity convey all sorts of questions about achievements, or simply “how” the students manage to make such projects breakthroughs. But apart from all that, we’d also like to appreciate the student team, who willingly committed to the event including their social mastery of greeting guests, which very much represents the nature and culture of respect within our beloved school.

And with all the contributions, we are proud to claim SMAK1’s 2024 Open House as a success! All Glory we return to God. Ecclesia Schola, Ecclesia Domestica!
