Hey everyone, today we’re going to talk about how willing we are to sacrifice our own personal desires/needs for a bigger cause. Making sacrifices is something that I think we have all done before, but were we willing to make those sacrifices in the first place? Or did we rather get forced to make it due to feeling bad if not doing so? Whatever the situation was, I think we can all agree that making sacrifices for the greater good is always a nice thing to do.
Like today’s quote by Kareem Abdul Jabbar, “I think that the good and the great are only separated by the willingness to sacrifice.” Therefore, let’s all become better people, by being able to accept that we just have to make sacrifices every once in a while, and so does everyone else. Let’s make this world a better place by putting others before ourselves. Oh, but don’t forget to take care of yourself too though.
