Honestly, I thought it was terrible. The concept was good enough for me to enjoy, but there is no chemistry between the two characters - we spend most of the time running around after Matteo, doing nothing. The romance is shoehorned in at the end, despite the fact there is no tension or growing feelings between them throughout the whole book.
The other characters added nothing to the story - not written well enough for me to care about them in a short amount of time, and added nothing to the world building or emotional impact.
