Once upon a time, there was a village called Gavaldon. The village was special, because the children from Gavaldon used to be the icons of fairy tales. For example, Jack from the story 'Jack and The Beanstalk'. It was indeed one of Gavaldon's villager. They noticed the face, the style, and the illustration drawn on the storybooks was exactly the same. There are four storybooks sent mysteriously to the bookshop in Gavaldon once in a year.
At first, they thought it was a coincidence. But then, more children were kidnapped and dissapeared. After a few years, they would somehow be shown in the pages of the storybooks. More and more cases went similar, until all of the villagers finally believe that theory. The kidnapper, known as the School Master would take two children once every four years. Then, they found a pattern of the kids that the School Master had taken and would continue to take which was 'one as the representative of Good and one for the Evil'.
The kids taken as Good usually has a beautiful appearance, do lots of good deeds, and very kind. They were chosen to become the princesses and princes of the stories. While the Evil usually has a bad appearance also the kind of a loner. They would become the witches of the stories.
But something odd is happening this year. The beautiful and nice Sophie is taken to the Evil School, and the lonely Agatha is taken to the Good School. They thought the school might have brought them to the wrong places. This will be the start of their adventure.
