This book consists of 15 short stories about the life of the poor people with the ins and outs of the problems that occur. The title of this book is taken from one of the short stories, namely Kind Looking Eyes. Kind Looking Eyes tells the story of two people, Mirta and Tarsa, who work as beggars. Mirta as a beggar who is blind with experience for decades and Tarsa as a beggar who guides Mirta while looking for people who are likely to be generous.
However, Mirta suddenly refused to beg when they were at the station. Tarsa who held Mirta's hand felt how warm Mirta's hand was. Mirta's lips also looked pale. Tarsa had asked about Mirta's condition, but Mirta replied that he was okay. At the end of the story, Mirta lay down and never woke up again.
