In the middle of the night on June 21, Geronimo Stilton, a journalist of The Rodent's Gazette, finds a music box with a strange letter inside his attic. Out of curiousity, he then walked up the appearing golden stairway and walked through a little golden door. Stilton finds himself in a crystal cave and meets a frog in red clothing. He calls himself a literary frog named Scribblehopper and he dreams of selling a bestselling book with Stilton as the knight in shining armor. Scribblehopper reads the rose-colored scroll and proclaims Queen Blossom is in trouble. Geronimo Stilton goes on an adventure to the Kingdom of Fantasy to save Queen Blossom, the queen of fairies. And so, he crosses seven kingdoms on the back of the Dragon of the Rainbow to save Queen Blossom.
