the book is talking about niki maxwell's highschool life. her life is mostly chaotic normal except when mackenzie is in action. mackenzie is a lifewrecking girl in her school. she always super self centered and thinks that the world revolves on her. you know that popular yet freakest girl in the class. niki has a crush named brandon. their friendship or should i say relationship is actually pretty great. but of course being the nose sticking girl mackenzie is she would always snoop in and tell everyone that brandon's in love with her. like what?!?!?! NO. what a sardines she is. one day on new year's eve, niki and her BFFs are playing truth or dare. it was fun until niki got a dare from zoey to toilet paper mackenzie's house. challange accepted. they went to mackenzie's house and toilet papered her ENTIRE house. bark bark! they got caught because of mack's dog, fifi. they started screaming and thats when niki realized the snobby airhead is about to act. mackenzie doesnt believe them and tell EVERYONE at school that brandon's the one who toilet papered her house and left a box of roses to get her attention and niki, chloe and zoey was super jealous they tried to take it down. poor brandon.....
and as i say niki's relationship with brandon is pretty nice. she got invited to brandon's birthday party while mackenzie IS NOT!!! one day niki was getting up fopr school when her father was dressed as a super fine man with coffee and a tie. huh. it turns out that her father got a business talk session with hollister holdings. HOLLISTER?! it was mackenzie's father'S business. niki fainted. basically her life is gonna be ruined
