This diary of a wimpy kid book is about Greg Heffley's diary. Well its not technically a diary, it is a journal but when his mom went out to get the journal she bought one with the word diary printed infront of it. Inside of this journal is Greg's experience during his first weeks of school.
Inside the book he talks about his experiences on the first week of middle school. He writes down about his seating plans, his first test, the cheese touch and his experience with PE class. He also talk about other things he experience outside of school. Like the winter play and his halloween experience.
