Parenting Care "Guiding Parenting in the Digital Era: Unlocking the Potential of Tech-Savvy Youth for a Brighter Future"

Parents of students from TK Nasional Plus BPK PENABUR Sentul City - Bogor took the weekend to participate in the Parenting Care and Parents Workshop that held on Saturday, August 31st, 2024.
The event began with Parenting Care which was attended by parents and teachers at 08.00 Am in the Hall of TK-SD Nasional Plus BPK PENABUR Sentul City - Bogor 2nd floor, themed "Guiding Parenting in the Digital Era: Unlocking the Potential of Tech-Savvy Youth for a Brighter Future". This seminar was hosted by Ms. Rida with a spokesperson, Mr. Dr. Lahargo Kembaren, SpKJ as a psychiatrist mental health specialist.
There are several important points that he explained regarding the problems of children and parents faced in the digital era and he also provided tips and motivation on the best parenting methods for children in the increasingly advanced and modern digital era.
After the Parenting Care seminar was over, the event continued with Parents Workshop attended by parents regarding the learning process of children at school through area activities carried out by children in class. The teachers explained about the area activities that consisted of 6 areas; life skills area (fine motor activities), preparation area (literacy and numeracy activities), drama area (small and large roleplay activities), arts area (art and craft activities), engineering and construction area (activities using blocks, lego, Geometric shapes, 2D/3D/tangram, and loose parts), and exploration of natural materials and technology (science activities). Parents had the opportunity to see and try out how the area activities work that children do when children do area activities.
The teachers also explained about the Phonics and Fonik learning techniques carried out by children in class to learn English and Bahasa Infonesia more interestingly and easily understood by children.
The parents felt very enthusiastic in participating in the Parenting Care and Parents Workshop. With this event, parents also learn to provide good parenting for children in the digital era and also want to develop children's learning potential at home by creating interesting and innovative children's learning activities.
