Literacy Festival at TK Nasional Plus BPK PENABUR Sentul City-Bogor

On February 26, 2025, TK Nasional Plus BPK PENABUR Sentul City-Bogor held a vibrant Literacy Festival, aiming to encourage young students’ love for reading and creativity. The day began with a fun singing time session in the auditorium, where the children sang together enthusiastically, creating a joyful atmosphere for the event.
The next highlight was an interactive storytelling session by Kak Meidy, who shared an engaging tale about a monkey and a chicken. His storytelling style captivated the children, encouraging them to actively participate and respond, making the experience both fun and educational.
One of the most exciting moments of the festival was the character parade. Children wore costumes based on characters from the books they had read and proudly walked across the stage, bringing these characters to life with smiles and excitement.
The E-lib Retelling Competition winners were then announced, recognizing those who had excelled in retelling stories from their chosen books. Following the announcement, the children returned to their classrooms for a retell story activity, where they shared and retold the stories from the books they had brought, helping to reinforce their understanding and storytelling skills.
The event concluded with a book exchange, where the children swapped books with friends, encouraging sharing and fostering a deeper love for reading. Overall, the Literacy Festival was a successful celebration of books, creativity, and learning, inspiring the children to continue exploring the world of reading in a fun and engaging way.
