CHILDREN'S SERVICE AND BIBLE COMPETITION I

On Wednesday, September 6, 2023, BPK PENABUR Bogor National Plus Kindergarten students from toddler to K2 level carried out and took part in Children's Service and Bible Competition 1. This activity is an annual activity held twice a year to build students' interest in Bible stories. This year, Children Service and Bible Competition 1 activity carries the theme “Noah Builds the Ark “ with the value of perseverance. The activity began with listening to a Bible story presented by Mrs. Endang, with role-play presented by Mrs. Sheila, Mrs. Indri, and Mrs. Tiur. The children looked excited when listening to the story.
After listening to the Bible story, the children rested for a while while enjoying their morning snack. After that, they continued their activities with various interesting competitions at various levels. For toddlers, the children play the game 'Matching Animal', for pre-school, the children play the game 'Matching Animal Shadow', for K1 level, the children play the game 'Balancing the Ball', and for K2 level, the children play 'Sequencing story' games. The children took part in these competitions cheerfully, and enthusiastically, some of the children even looked very ambitious. Apart from enjoying the excitement of the competition, children who win each competition receive attractive prizes that have been prepared by the teachers. It is hoped that the prizes given will encourage children to explore more Bible stories with friends, teachers and parents.
This Children's Service and Bible Competition activity is one of the school's efforts to continue to instill Christian values in young children. Students are not only given explanations as is done in daily morning devotion, but also get to know Bible characters and their stories through interesting games which also train various basic abilities such as cognitive and sensory-motor. Children are also expected to have a love of God by knowing His story and being willing to carry out His teachings simply in their daily lives, both at home and at school.
