Parent Cell Group at SMA Nasional Plus BPK PENABUR Sentul City: Building Synergy Between Parents and School for the Children's Future

Bogor – SMA Nasional Plus BPK PENABUR Sentul City continues to demonstrate its commitment to fostering synergy between parents and the school through its regular program entitled "Parent Cell Group." This initiative is held across several sessions throughout the 2024/2025 academic year, featuring inspirational guest speakers.

The Parent Cell Group aims to strengthen communication between the school and parents, provide insights on Christian-based parenting, and serve as a platform for sharing experiences and offering spiritual support in the face of today’s educational challenges. Through seminar and discussion formats, parents are offered inspiration and practical guidance in supporting their children.

Parent Cell Group is a spiritual enrichment and parenting education program designed for the parents of students. The sessions carry significant themes surrounding the role of parents in supporting their children’s holistic development—both academically and spiritually. The participants of this program are the parents of students from SMA Nasional Plus BPK PENABUR Sentul City, Bogor.

The first Parent Cell Group session, themed "Designing the Future: Embracing Success in Post-High School Education," was held on Saturday, 21 September 2024, from 8.00 to 9.30AM (WIB). It was led by David Triki Rena Hutauruk, S.Si (Theol.) and Agustinus Firmandes Titarri, S.Pd., who serve as a religious studies teacher and a school counselor, respectively.
The second session, titled “Your Result Depends on God,” took place on Saturday, 14 December 2024, from 8.30 to 10.00 AM (WIB) and was led by Rev. Indra K. Tjandra, M.Th., from GKI Kota Modern.
The third session, with the theme “Communication and Synergy: Growing Together for Our Children’s Future,” was held on Friday, 21 March 2025, from 8.30 to 10.00 AM (WIB) and was led by Rev. Marietta F.J. Simanjuntak, S.Th., M.A., M.Th., an experienced educator, counselor, and priest.
The fourth and final Parent Cell Group session is scheduled to take place in June 2025.
